What does design system AI readiness mean anyway

What does it mean, exactly, for a design system to be “AI ready”? As a design systems engineering leader, I’ve been thinking about this question a lot. When I look around the industry, it seems most design systems teams have attempted to answer this question by converging on tactics: Making
